Job summary

Precision Associates Inc. is seeking a 1st shift CNC Programmer to support high-speed milling of HCR and LSR rubber tooling. You will program Makino machines via Mastercam, perform precise mold and fixture work, and revise tools per Engineering guidance.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of programming, 2D/3D programming skills, mold-building knowledge, and strong communication. Join a dynamic team in a fast-paced tool room environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of programming experience.
• 2D and 3D programming experience.
• Mastercam experience.
• Ability to work with very tight tolerances.
• Mold building knowledge/experience.
• Good communication skills.

Responsibilities

1st shift CNC Programmer for a leading manufacturer, providing the industry with top quality HCR and LSR rubber products.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Program Makino CNC machining centers for high speed milling operations using Mastercam
• Perform high precision machining of molds and fixtures
• Revisions of existing tools as determined by Engineering
• Work as a team member and follow established procedures in a new, well equipped, fast paced tool room
• Effective communication with others
• Ability to manage time effectively and meet productivity expectations and deadlines
• Attentive to scheduling priorities as they relate to programming
• Complete Programming Checklists
• Regular and consistent Attendance

Additional Duties and Responsibilities

• Keep work area clean and orderly
• All other jobs requested by Supervision

Prerequisite Qualifications

• 5 plus years of programming experience
• 2D and 3D programming experience
• Mastercam experience
• Ability to work with very tight tolerances
