Job summary

Precision Associates, Inc. is seeking a CNC Programmer for first shift to program Makino CNC machining centers for high speed milling of molds and fixtures. You will use Mastercam and revisions of tools as directed by Engineering, working within a fast-paced tool room environment.

The role requires strong 2D/3D programming experience, ability to meet tight tolerances, and a motivated team-player attitude. Excellent communication and time-management are essential, along with consistent attendance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of programming experience.
• 2D and 3D programming experience.
• Ability to work with very tight tolerances.
• Mold building knowledge/experience.
• Highly motivated team player.

Responsibilities

• Program Makino CNC machining centers for high speed milling operations using Mastercam.
• Perform high precision machining of molds and fixtures.

• Work as a team member and follow established procedures in a new, well equipped, fast paced tool room.

• Complete Programming Checklists.
• Regular and consistent Attendance.
• Keep work area clean and orderly.

• Program Makino CNC machining centers for high speed milling operations using Mastercam
• Perform high precision machining of molds and fixtures
• Revisions of existing tools as determined by Engineering
• Work as a team member and follow established procedures in a new, well equipped, fast paced tool room
• Effective communication with others
• Ability to manage time effectively and meet productivity expectations and deadlines
• Attentive to scheduling priorities as they relate to programming
• Complete Programming Checklists
• Regular and consistent Attendance
