Job summary

UPC is seeking a skilled CNC Programmer in Madison, WI to interpret drawings and CAD/CAM files, develop and test G-code for multi-axis machines, and select tooling and cutting parameters.

You will collaborate with machinists and engineers, perform first-quality inspections, maintain program libraries, train operators, and participate in new product introductions. Must read blueprints and work orders; CAD software such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Associate's degree in CNC programming, a computer-related field or a mechanical field.
• Experience with programming and knowledge of electronics and machine tools is required.
• Ability to use CAD software (Autocad, Solidworks).
• Must be able to read and interpret work orders and blueprints.
• Experience with ERP Systems a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work with cross-functional teams to support new product introductions and prototype development.
• Must be able to setup and operate all equipment in CNC
