Delta Gear is an AS9100 and ISO9001 registered facility which manufactures precision gears, shafts, splines, carriers, housings, gages, master gears & other geared components and gearbox assemblies. In addition, we provide contract gear and CMM inspection services. We are also a NADCAP approved non-destructive testing facility and currently provide Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI) and Nital Etch.

The CNC Mill Programer will be responsible to program CNC Mill equipment with minimal supervision. Inspect faces and diameters using micrometers, gages and amps. Maintain proper documentation of SPC data and collaborate with management staff and supervisor.

Tasks:

• Programs, set-up, and operate computer numerical control machines to fabricate parts
• load parts in the machine, cycles machine and detects malfunctions in machine operations, such as worn or damaged cutting tools
• Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition and follows prescribed safety procedures.
• Program equipment to perform production tasks.
• Determine production equipment settings.
• Select production equipment according to product specifications.
• Study blueprints or other instructions to determine equipment setup requirements.
• Conduct test runs of production equipment.

Qualifications:

• 2 years of experience with GD&T.
• 2 years Programming, setup and running of CNC 3, 4 & 5-Axis Mills
• 2 years of experience using Mastercam CNC Mill Software.
• 2 years of experience Tooling, cutter technology and part fixturing.
• 2 years of experience with Horizontal Boring Mill & 5 Axis Milling
• In depth knowledge of GD & T,
• Tooling, cutter technology and part fixturing.
• Ability to indicate diameters and faces on setup pieces and low-volume production
• In-process inspection
