Job summary

Staffmark is hiring a CNC Programmer in Lititz, PA for a direct-hire role on a weekend shift. You will program, set up, and operate CNC equipment to produce high-quality components, collaborating with engineers and production teams to meet tight tolerances.

The position requires 1–3 years of CNC programming or 5+ years CNC machining, experience with CAD/CAM, G-code and M-code, and strong mathematical and blueprint-reading skills. Ongoing training and safety are emphasized.

Education Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or trade school certification required.

Experience Requirements

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout a manufacturing facility for extended periods.

• Ability to safely operate CNC machinery and manufacturing equipment.
• Willingness to work overtime, extended hours, and flexible schedules to meet production demands.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain focus in a production environment.

Job Duties

• Program CNC machines using CAD/CAM software from 3D models, blueprints, and engineering documentation.
• Develop efficient machining programs, select tooling, calculate speeds and feeds, and support process planning.
• Read and interpret technical drawings to ensure quality and production requirements are met.
• Troubleshoot machining, tooling, material, and production issues to minimize downtime.
• Inspect finished parts, identify defects, and maintain compliance with quality standards and tolerances.
• Collaborate with operators, engineers, and production teams to improve manufacturing processes and productivity.
• Operate CNC equipment as needed, support preventive maintenance activities, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain accurate production records, support safety and quality objectives, and assist with employee training and knowledge sharing.
