Job Details

We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled CNC Programmer to join our innovative engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and developing CNC programs for a variety of machinery using CAD/CAM software. This role is vital in enhancing productivity, efficiency, and accuracy in our manufacturing processes. As a CNC Programmer, you will be dealing with materials such as Inconel and Titanium, utilizing your expertise in Solidworks and lathe operations. This is a full-time, permanent position, requiring a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and create CNC Programs using CAD/CAM software.
  • Perform programming at the machine (G&M code) as well as CAM programming.
  • Design and develop tooling, fixtures, and other machining aids.
  • Work closely with the production team to ensure the successful execution of programs.
  • Perform complex setups on CNC machines and produce parts to tight tolerances.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with machines and tooling.
  • Understand and interpret complex blueprints, sketches, and models.
  • Monitor and optimize cutting conditions to increase productivity and tool life.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
  • Continuously improve machining processes and techniques through innovation and up-to-date industry knowledge.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 4 years of experience as a CNC Programmer in the engineering industry.
  • Proficient in CAD/CAM software, preferably Solidworks.
  • Extensive experience with lathe operations.
  • Solid understanding of materials such as Inconel and Titanium.
  • Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints, sketches, and models.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • A strong understanding of machining processes, tooling, and production layout.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong commitment to quality, productivity, and team performance.
