Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Technician to join the Stack Forging Thermal Solutions team. You will set up, calibrate, and operate machines, follow SOPs, inspect outputs for quality, and support R&D process improvements in a fast-paced manufacturing facility.

The ideal candidate has practical hands-on experience, strong safety awareness, and the ability to read schematics and blueprints, with the stamina to lift heavy objects and work on-site in a regulated environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up, calibration, and operation of production machines.
• Follow verbal or written instructions via SOPs.
• Inspect machining operations and finished products against tolerances.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning.
• Set up and operate a CNC production machine per guidelines.
• Use laser cutting equipment for metal sheet stack forging.
• Adjust machine settings to meet specifications.
• Inspect materials and products for quality, report discrepancies.
• Collaborate with engineers on R&D and process improvements.
