Qualifications

• At least 3 years of supervisory or leadership experience in a CNC machining department.
• High school diploma is required; some college in a related field preferred.
• Ability to lead a team to improve safety, quality and productivity.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Leads the manufacturing team within company policies to meet objectives and customer expectations.
• Plans work, assigns tasks, coordinates workflow, balances quality, productivity, cost, safety and morale.
• Trains the manufacturing team, and serves as a resource to manufacturing employees in resolving production issues.
• Hires, trains, directs, motivates, evaluates and rewards the manufacturing team to meet the company's objectives.
• Collaborates with customers and internal support resources to respond to production issues.
• Establishes a culture of continuous improvement within the manufacturing team.
• Monitors performance to ensure timely and accurate records and compliance with safety and housekeeping standards.
• Performs accident investigations when necessary and ensures compliance with regulations.
