Qualifications

• Manufacturing experience is preferred.
• Ability to read and understand basic instructions, such as shop packet, standard work instructions, and various visual aids.
• Ability to use basic math and measuring devices.
• Good manual dexterity is helpful.
• Good time management to work at a good pace, executing word orders and demands.
• Ability to handle basic tools.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints, work instructions, and drawings to determine inspection criteria and material requirements.
• Set up microscope over measuring instrument and adjust spools, laser, or other machines.
• Activate machine to automatically perform manufacturing processes.
• Monitor machine operation and control panel displays to detect defects or malfunctions.
• Inspect workpieces for defects and measure accuracy using rulers or templates.
• Prepare, label, and transport packages per work instruction.
• Remove and transport finished work pieces and packages while protecting materials.
