Job summary

Wieland North America, Inc in Lima, Ohio is hiring a CNC Production Operator to operate CNC lathes and mills, interpret parts prints, and meet production quality standards. Training is provided for qualified individuals; the role is on-site in Lima with fixed evening shifts.

Starting pay is $25.32 per hour with a weekly pay schedule. Typical duties include setup, loading materials, routine measurements, and maintaining quality control. Prior CNC experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year CNC Experience
• Ability to work unsupervised.
• Ability to comprehend verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to multitask job duties effectively and efficiently.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machines (mills, lathes, routers, etc.) to produce parts according to blueprints and specifications.
• Set up machines by installing and aligning tools, fixtures, and materials.
• Load and unload raw materials and finished parts safely and efficiently.
• Perform basic machine adjustments and offsets to maintain part quality.
• Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision measuring tools.
• Verify dimensions and surface finishes meet print or process requirements.
• Record inspection data and report deviations or defects promptly.
• Follow and maintain quality control procedures.

Wieland is hiring a CNC Production Operator. The CNC Production Operator will be responsible for operating CNC lathes and mills, interpreting parts prints, using manual gauging, and meeting production rates and quality standards is helpful; however, training is provided for qualified individuals. This role is located in Lima, Ohio and will be fully on-site.

Starting Pay: $25.32

Schedule: Monday - Friday 3:00PM-11:00PM or Sunday - Thursday 11:00PM – 7:00AM (Training period Monday - Friday 7:00AM-3:00PM)

Pay Schedule: Weekly (Friday)
