Job summary

AFL is seeking a skilled CNC Lathe & Mill Process Trainer to lead hands-on development of operators on CNC lathes and mills. The role emphasizes structured instruction, qualification tracking, and on-the-job coaching to maintain process proficiency.

You will train new hires and refresh certified operators, while collaborating with supervisors to ensure safety, quality, and standard work adherence in a manufacturing environment in Duncan, SC.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 5+ years CNC machining experience preferred.
• Experience training, mentoring or certifying operators preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC lathe and mill to run production work.
• Serve as floor-based trainer for CNC operators.
• Conduct hands-on instruction: setup, changeovers, tooling, workholding, offsets, inspection.
