Job summary

Siemens Energy in Charlotte, NC, is seeking a GT Process Operator for Fri-Sun 5:30pm-6:00am. The role involves setting up and operating CNC-driven manufacturing equipment, including machining, bonding, and welding, with manual machines as needed.

The ideal candidate has 3 years of CNC experience, reads complex drawings, and can perform metrology. A forklift license, respirator capability, and ability to lift 50 lbs are required. Work authorization in the United States is mandatory.

Qualifications

3 years of CNC experience, able to read and understand programs.
Ability to read complex drawings and perform metrology.
Forklift/crane license required; able to use shop math and follow complex drawings.
Must be able to wear a respirator and pass a process operator competency test.
Set-up and operate manufacturing facilities using CNC controls for multiple operations.
Must be able to lift/move 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

Set-up and operate a variety of manufacturing facilities using CNC controls for multiple operations.
Perform transitions including machining, bonding, welding, and operating manual machines and hand tools.
Load/unload parts using jib cranes, forklifts, and other material handling devices.
