Job summary

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of CNC experience with Haas, Hardinge or Tsugami Swiss lathes, reads blueprints and schematics, performs quality inspections, and maintains 5S in the cell while meeting daily production targets.

Qualifications

• Must have 3–5 years experience operating CNC machines
• Experience reading blueprints, bills of materials and part specifications
• Ability to prioritize work and work with minimal supervision
• Must be able to read and utilize measuring instruments (calipers, micrometer) and perform basic math

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate and troubleshoot CNC Machines to achieve first article
• Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and work instructions
• Load and unload parts and raw material safely
• Perform measuring and quality inspections
• Maintain 5S in the cell and comply with ISO standards
• Support engineers and programmers in productions
• Change tooling and maintain machine settings
• Operate other NC and manual equipment as needed
• Document defects and quality data
