Job summary

Trace-A-Matic in Brookfield, WI is seeking an experienced manufacturing engineer to plan end‑to‑end machining and assembly sequences based on customer orders and drawings. You will create routings, tooling plans, and documentation to ensure high quality, efficient production.

The role will program CNC equipment, fine‑tune tooling, and participate in corrective actions and MRB boards, with a strong emphasis on GD&T, cost reduction, and on‑time delivery.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering required; equivalent experience considered.
• 7+ years of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Proficient in GD&T and CNC tooling.

Responsibilities

• Plan end‑to‑end sequences for machining and assembly based on customer orders and specifications.
• Create shop routings, operation sheets, tooling plans, and process documentation.
• Program CNC equipment to achieve desired results and optimize efficiency.
• Identify and solve machining/tooling issues to prevent recurrence and improve yield.
• Generate or revise manufacturing drawings using CAD methods and GD&T standards.
