Job summary

STS Technical Services in Brookfield, WI is seeking a CNC Programmer / Manufacturing Engineer to support Trace‑A‑Matic’s precision machining operations. The role focuses on CNC programming, new product development, and daily production support in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering required.
• 7+ years of manufacturing experience preferred.
• CNC programming experience required.
• Experience supporting precision machined components preferred.
• Experience with advanced manufacturing equipment and processes preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan sequences of operations for machining and assembly based on customer order requirements.
• Ensure efficient manufacturing methods are used and compatible with available machines.
• Specify, design and/or procure tooling or equipment required to meet customer requirements within budgeted cost and time.
• Program CNC machines to effectively and efficiently produce desired products.
• Participate in Corrective Action and MRB Boards.
• Analyze and resolve machining and tooling issues to avoid production problems.
• Create new manufacturing drawings using CAD methodology.
• Modify existing manufacturing drawings using CAD methodology.
• Value engineer existing products and processes to reduce cost, lead time and cycle times.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures and contractual requirements.
