Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering preferred or an equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of manufacturing engineering experience.
• 3+ years of CNC equipment experience preferred.
• Experience with CAD software and knowledge of machine G&M code.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Automotive manufacturing experience ideal.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Must be able to perform some physical duties, such as lifting up to 25 pounds, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist etc.

Responsibilities

• Implement engineering processes related to CNC production machining.
• Maintain and update CNC programs
• Analyze workflow, layout of equipment
• Specify tooling requirements for production
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with CNC machines
• Test and evaluate equipment
• Act as Technical Lead to Engineering Technicians
• Install initial start-up of equipment
• Interact with vendors to determine appropriate specifications and purchase equipment
• Other duties as assigned by management
