SON Metal Fab, a family-owned sheet metal fabrication company in Ashland, VA, seeks a CNC Press Brake Programmer & Operator to program, set up, and operate press brake equipment to bend sheet metal per drawings and specs.

Qualifications

• Read blueprints, shop drawings and technical specs.
• Program, set up, and operate CNC press brake machines.
• Measure and verify finished parts to specs.
• Troubleshoot and adjust during bending processes.
• Perform routine maintenance on press brake equipment.

Responsibilities

• Read, interpret blueprints and technical specs.
• Program, set up and operate CNC press brakes per design.
• Ensure proper positioning and secure handling of material.
• Monitor forming process and adjust as needed.
• Measure, inspect and verify finished parts against specs.
• Troubleshoot issues during bending and repair as needed.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment.
• Adhere to safety policies and regulations.
