Job summary

Prysmian is seeking a Press Brake Operator in Texas to setup, maintain and operate the brake press cell. You will follow work orders and blueprints, ensure quality through inspections, and uphold safety rules. Responsibilities include completing tasks per supervisor direction and other duties as assigned.

The role requires manual dexterity, the ability to read drawings, and experience with press brake tooling. Overtime and manufacturing environment exposure are possible.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with Wintriss and Aida controls is a plus.
• Overtime may be required as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operates Press Brake machine.
• Run bend and forming operations using standard and custom punches.
• Use a CNC controller to input information into the machine.
• Adjust ram and back gauge locations per process instructions and blueprints.
• Perform complex programming using all features of the press brake.
• Read drawings and blueprints.
• Perform spot inspections and complete paperwork.
