Laser North, Inc in Hayti, South Dakota is seeking Press Brake Operators to run CNC press brakes and form various metal components to meet quality and delivery goals. You will interpret prints, create bend programs, and inspect parts.

Qualifications

• Self-motivation and excellent work ethic required.
• Previous manufacturing or industrial-related experience preferred.
• Ability to read and understand prints or instructions.
• Independently handle parts up to 50 lbs. for long periods.
• Strong attention to detail and problem solving ability.
• Balance urgency with safety, quality and efficiency.
• Follow business rules, safe practices and lifting techniques.

Responsibilities

• Read prints and instructions to determine bend requirements.
• Create and edit bend programs for CNC presses.
• Form components from carbon steel, stainless steel and aluminum.
• Inspect parts to ensure customer specs are met.
• Perform forklift materials handling.
• Communicate daily with supervisors and managers.
