Laser North in Hayti, South Dakota seeks a skilled Press Brake Operator to set up and run CNC press brakes, form custom metal components, and ensure parts meet specifications. The role requires reading blueprints, editing bend programs, and maintaining safety and quality as a priority.

You will handle carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum, inspect parts, and work with supervisors to meet delivery timelines. A strong work ethic and prior manufacturing experience are valued.

Qualifications

• Experience operating CNC press brakes and reading prints.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform forklift material handling.
• Strong attention to detail with safety and quality focus.
• Self-motivated with a solid work ethic.
• Previous manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create bend programs and form metal components.
• Read and interpret prints and instructions.
• Form components from carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.
• Part inspections to ensure customer specifications.
• Operate forklift for materials handling.
• Daily communication with supervisors and managers.
