Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 4–5 years experience operating and programming press brake machines; Amada experience preferred.
• Solid background in sheet metal.
• Knowledge of tooling and tool maintenance.
• Aptitude for math, problem-solving and computer skills.
• Ability to read blueprints and tolerances.
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and stand for long shifts.

Responsibilities

• Select punches and dies based on material thickness and type.
• Set up tooling, load programs, and set machine parameters for optimal performance.
• Ensure tools are undamaged and safe to use.
• Operate machinery and assist machine operators as needed.
• Produce parts that meet engineering drawings and specifications.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and input data into ERP/Global system.
• Complete paperwork/job sheets required for the area.
• Adhere to safety procedures and regulations; overtime may be required.
• Collaborate with team to maximize productivity and efficiency.
