Job summary

Laser North, Inc. in Hayti, South Dakota seeks a Press Brake Operator to program and operate CNC press brakes, delivering quality parts on time.

You will read prints, develop bend programs, and form carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum components while maintaining safety and efficiency. The ideal candidate will read and interpret technical drawings, be able to handle parts up to 50 lbs, and work with meticulous attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret prints or instructions.
• Experience with CNC press brakes preferred.
• Ability to read and understand prints or instructions.
• Ability to independently handle parts up to 50 lbs. for long periods.
• Possess a strong attention to detail and ability to solve problems.
• Ability to balance urgency with safety, quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Reading and interpreting prints and instructions.
• Creating and editing simple and complex bend programs.
• Forming components from carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.
• Part inspections to ensure parts meet customer specifications.
• Forklift materials handling.
• Daily communication with supervisors/managers.
