Dakotaland Manufacturing seeks a Press Brake Operator for a day shift in Sioux Falls, SD. You will set up, program, and operate hydraulic CNC‑controlled press brakes to bend sheet metal per drawings, ensuring quality and production efficiency.

The role supports a 4‑day workweek (Mon–Thu) with a $19–$25/hour DOE wage, start time 6:00 AM. Candidates should have press brake experience, blueprint reading skills, CNC knowledge, and solid measurement capabilities.

Qualifications

• Press Brake Experience: set up, operate, adjust, troubleshoot CNC press brake equipment.
• Blueprint reading: read and interpret blueprints, drawings, work orders, tolerances.
• CNC Knowledge: load/edit CNC programs; basic G-code/M-code understanding.
• Precision Measurement: calipers, micrometers, gauges, protractors.
• Metal Fabrication Knowledge: metal-forming processes, hydraulics, fabrication.
• Quality & Safety Focus: attention to detail; safety practices.
• Problem-Solving: identify and resolve issues.
• Teamwork: communicate effectively in a fast-paced team.
• Physical Ability: stand for long periods; lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate hydraulic press brake and punch equipment for production work.
• Program CNC controls to produce new parts per drawings.
• Select tooling and install/setup tooling for jobs.
• Load and adjust tooling; ensure part accuracy.
• Meet quality and production-time standards; inspect work.
• Log production time and completed work in data system.
• Operate forklift to move materials and parts.
• Troubleshoot routine issues and seek assistance when needed.
• Report material, production, and quality concerns.
• Maintain equipment performance logs and coordinate with maintenance.
