Job summary

Aerotek in Dothan, AL is seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join our fabrication team. You will set up and operate CNC press brake and plate rolling equipment to bend metal parts to specification, read blueprints, and verify parts with tape measures and calipers.

This contract-to-hire, fully onsite role offers a first shift from 6:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday-Thursday with occasional Fridays. You must lift up to 50 lbs and work in a non-climate controlled shop.

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating CNC press brake.
• Experience operating plate rolling equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Proficient with tape measure and calipers.
• Strong understanding of imperial measurement system.
• Experience operating power tools.
• Certified or experienced with overhead cranes (or willing to train).
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC press brake equipment to bend and form metal parts to specification.
• Operate plate rolling equipment to form metal plates into required shapes and curves.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate builds.
• Accurately measure materials and finished parts using tape measure and calipers.
• Work within the imperial measurement system.
• Operate various power tools as needed for fabrication tasks.
• Safely operate overhead cranes to move materials and finished products.
• Lift and move materials up to 50 lbs as needed.
• Inspect completed parts for accuracy and quality.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with shop standards.
