Overview

CNC Press Brake Operator

Location: Columbus, OH - must be able to relocate

Join our team in Columbus, OH, where we build world-class food processing equipment with a focus on Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost. We are seeking a skilled and dedicated CNC Press Brake Operator to contribute to our mission of excellence.

Responsibilities:

1. Read and interpret blueprints.
2. Set up and document tooling and safe practices for CNC Press Brake operations.
3. Verify machine settings to ensure accurate tolerances and functions.
4. Maintain cleanliness of the machine during operations.
5. Operate, control settings, deburr, and inspect parts to ensure conformance.
6. Work from drawings, sketches, manuals, specifications, or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances, sequence of operations, and setup requirements.
7. Organize the work area before and after processing parts, and stack completed parts properly on blocks or pallets.
8. Detect equipment malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining and adjust the machine within capabilities.
9. Calculate blank sizes, bend locations, appropriate tonnage, and tooling for each part being formed.

Qualifications:

1. Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
2. Ability to read and understand blueprints, drawings, electrical, hydraulic schematics, and mechanical drawings.
3. Basic computer skills, including ERP transactional experience.
4. Trade or Technical School education (Preferred)
5. Forklift experience (Preferred)
