  • Run first-article checks; inspect parts with gauges and verify dimensions.
  • Balance throughput with quality to meet schedules and time standards.
  • Record job progress in the E2 management system for tracking.
  • Keep equipment clean, lubricated, and fixtures/tools returned after use.
  • Identify issues early and collaborate with supervision to resolve.

Join Us as a CNC Press Brake Machinist — Shape Precision From Sheet to Spec

You’ll report directly to the Manufacturing Manager and spend your day transforming prints into precisely formed parts on our hydraulic, CNC-controlled press brakes. If you love blending hands‑on craft with thoughtful programming, this role gives you both—from setup through quality check.

a detail‑minded fabricator who can read complex blueprints, write or edit Amada NT & NC9 programs, and keep production flowing safely, on time, and to spec.

A day in the life
  • Begin by reviewing travelers, drawings, and specifications to confirm sequence, tooling, and quality checkpoints.
  • Set up the hydraulic CNC press brake, load and retrieve validated CNC programs, and make on-the-fly edits as needed.
  • Run first‑article checks; inspect work using appropriate gauges; verify dimensions before releasing for final inspection.
  • Balance throughput and quality—meeting schedule and time standards for each assignment.
  • Capture job progress and completion in the E2 management system for accurate tracking.
  • Keep your machine dialed‑in—clean, lubricated, with proper fluid levels; return all fixtures and tooling at job close.
  • Flag issues early and partner with supervision to resolve; make routine decisions and elevate complex problems.
  • Spot setup‑reduction and Lean/6S improvements; share ideas with the appropriate 6S team lead.

What you bring
  • 5+ years in a manufacturing environment with strong metal forming/fabrication fundamentals.
  • Fluency in reading blueprints and technical documents; confident with shop math.
  • Proficiency programming/operating Amada press brakes (NT & NC9), including basic setups and punch/press operations.
  • Hands‑on skill with inspection gauges and deburring; strong equipment/mechanical troubleshooting ability.
  • Organized, self‑starting multitasker with excellent communication and a continuous‑improvement mindset.
  • Basic computer literacy and a valid Driver’s License.
