Job summary

South Bay Solutions in Mattos, CA is seeking a CNC Operator who can read blueprints, load and unload materials, and inspect parts to ensure quality. The role requires safety awareness and the ability to operate vertical, horizontal, or lathe CNC machines in a heavy manufacturing environment.

You will document processes, maintain cleanliness, and ensure continuity between shifts. A high school diploma or GED is required; lifting up to 50 lbs is routine.

Qualifications

• Must read blueprints and specifications to operate CNC machines.
• Ability to change tools and adjust machines.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Basic math and writing skills.
• Measurement tools and blueprint experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC Machines using drawings, specs, and instructions.
• Maintain or exceed production standards.
• Sustain a safe, efficient, and clean work environment.
• Perform parts inspection to specifications.
• Document in-process sheets.
• Verify proper tool usage.
• Organize materials, hardware, and tooling.
• Operate vertical machines as needed.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the machine and area.
• Maintain continuity between shifts through documentation and communication.
• Perform other job-related duties.
