Job summary

Boeing in Wichita, KS seeks a Crane CNC-PLC Maintenance Electrician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain complex electrical systems including PLC-controlled and CNC machinery. You will support production by diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and ensuring safe, reliable operation of all equipment.

Responsibilities include using schematics and wiring diagrams, performing software backups, coordinating with engineering and vendors, and training staff.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of industrial electrical/electronic maintenance experience or equivalent training.
• Experience troubleshooting industrial electrical equipment, motors, controls or automated machinery.
• Experience working with 480-volt, three-phase electrical systems.
• Experience reading electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and ladder logic.
• Working knowledge of PLC-controlled equipment and basic PLC troubleshooting.
• Experience using electrical testing equipment such as digital multimeters.
• Willing and able to work any assigned shift, including 2nd or 3rd shift, weekends, holidays, and overtime as required.
• Must successfully complete a job-related skills assessment.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical systems, PLC-controlled equipment, CNC machinery, and crane-related equipment.
• Perform software backups of all applicable assets.
• Use wiring diagrams and schematics to ensure compliance with wiring specifications.
• Devise and fabricate testing aids and equipment.
• Coordinate with management, engineering and vendors to plan installations and safety improvements.
• Train employees and perform other duties as required.
