Usemco Inc. in the Town of Tomah, Wisconsin is seeking a Burn Table Operator to set up and operate the burn table efficiently. Responsibilities include producing products based on customer specifications and maintaining equipment in optimal condition.

Under the direction of and reporting to the Welding Department Supervisor, the Burn Table Operator sets up and operates the burn table in order to produce a variety of company products in accordance with customer specifications.

Requires education generally equivalent to 4 years of high school and one year related experience in steel fab.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and written materials relating to press set up and operation and safety procedures.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide and use area calculations to set up cutting operations.
Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with simple problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Employee must possess mechanical aptitude. The employee must possess the ability to operate a variety of equipment such as overhead cranes, forklifts, grinders, cutting torch and plasma.
