Job summary

Infra-Metals Co. is seeking a skilled CNC Operator to run, set up, and troubleshoot CNC machinery ensuring quality and productivity. The role involves interpreting drawings, mastering measuring tools, and coordinating with sales for drawing data.

Experience in a steel service or fabrication environment is a plus. A remote crane operation capability and CAD drawing interpretation may be required as part of daily tasks.

Qualifications

• Experience operating CNC controlled equipment.
• Experience in a steel service or fabrication center preferred.
• Clear written and spoken English.
• Ability to read basic blueprints and use measuring tools.
• Crane operation and material handling experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate, set up, and troubleshoot assigned machinery to meet quality and productivity goals.
• Maintain machine operation by solving production issues and adjusting equipment.
• Read and interpret basic blueprints and drawings per customer requirements.
• Attach drawings to work orders and communicate progress with sales.
• Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reporting.
• Adhere to safety and operation procedures.
• Possibly operate remote-controlled overhead crane.
• Create, decipher and comprehend CAD drawings as required.
