Job summary

SpiTrex CTE seeks a diligent 2nd shift machinist to support medical device production in Indiana. You will read blueprints, perform precision measurements, and maintain GDP compliance while deburring and polishing parts to spec.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of medical device experience, a High School Diploma or GED, and a positive attitude. Benefits include medical, dental, 401(k) match, and paid vacation/holidays.

Qualifications

• Read basic blueprints and interpret simple features.
• Use micrometers, dial calipers, and comparators.
• Understand basic metrology reporting and measurement math.
• Maintain compliance with Quality System requirements.
• Demonstrate organization and good housekeeping.
• Collaborate with inspection and off-shift personnel.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and measure features with precision.
• Maintain GDP/compliance in daily work.
• Fill criteria sheets/ Job Pack before next step.
• Inspect compliance with GDP requirements.
• Deburr and polish parts to specification.
• Keep the work area organized and clean.
• Coordinate with inspection and leads on off-shift tasks.

2nd Shift: Monday to Thursday, 3PM - 1AM

Essential Functions:

• Basic understanding of machine operations
• Maintain compliance with good machining practices
• Filling criteria sheets/ Job Packet prior to moving on to next step
• Inspecting compliance to GDP requirements

Competency:

• Must be able to read basic level blueprints features

Educational Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED preferred

Experience:
