Job summary

Crown Equipment Corporation is seeking a dedicated CNC Machinist for on-site work in New Castle, Indiana. You will set up, adjust, and operate automatic and CNC lathes, mills, or grinders, read prints, and contribute to solving machining challenges to meet tight tolerances.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Reading and writing skills, basic math, and problem solving essential.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret measurements preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust, and operate automatic and CNC lathes, mills, or centerless grinder.
• Change tooling as needed.
• Operate 1 or 2 machines by self or 3+ with assistance.
• Help solve machining problems related to your assigned machine.
• Inspect parts per print specifications.
• Help train and assist new operators.
• Able to read and change CNC programs.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
