Job summary

Crown Equipment Corporation in Celina, Ohio, is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to set up, adjust, and operate Lathes or Mills, read blueprints, and follow work instructions to produce parts per print specifications. Your work will include reading prints, changing tooling, inspecting parts, and solving machining problems with basic CNC knowledge.

A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and teamwork and safety are essential. Paid training is provided.

Pay tops out at $34.59/hour (plus shift premium for 2nd and 3rd shift)

Responsibilities:

• Set-up, adjust, and operate Lathes or Mills.
• Change tooling as needed.
• Inspect parts per print specifications.
• Help solve machining problems related to your machine.
• Read and change CNC programs.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to work safely in a fast-paced team environment.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions to ensure quality.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Must be able to read blue prints, understand basic math, some knowledge of CNC programming & controls, and have the ability to problem solve.

Additional Information:

• Paid training provided
• 2nd shift: Hours for this position are 2:45 pm - 10:55 pm Monday - Friday
• 3rd shift: Hours for this position are 10:45 pm - 6:55 am Sunday - Thursday
