MacLean-Fogg is seeking an entry-level CNC Operator on the 2nd shift at our Sagerstown, PA facility. This trainee role focuses on learning foundational CNC production tasks, machine safety, and quality practices under direct supervision.

You will gain hands-on skills while supporting safe, consistent production, performing simple machine operations, loading materials, and following detailed instructions.

Qualifications

• No formal education or prior CNC or manufacturing experience is required.
• Ability to learn and follow detailed instructions.
• Commitment to safe work practices and consistent use of required PPE.
• Reliability, consistent attendance, and punctuality.
• Attention to detail and the ability to work cooperatively with trainers and peers.
• Willingness to learn, apply new information, and develop technical CNC skills.

Responsibilities

• Participate in structured training on CNC operations, workplace safety, and quality standards.
• Assist with simple machine operations and the loading and unloading of raw materials and finished parts.
• Follow detailed work instructions and standard processes while working under direct supervision.
• Monitor gauges and learn to use basic measurement tools to perform simple part checks.
• Clean and organize work areas, replenish materials, and support 5S standards.
• Report safety hazards, equipment concerns, and quality issues promptly.
• Follow applicable Safety, Environmental, and Quality policies, procedures, and PPE requirements.
