Job summary

Milwaukee Valve Co. LLC. is seeking a 1st Shift CNC Operator Trainee in Prairie Du Sac, WI, in Department 301. Starting hourly wage is $22.34 with a $1,000 sign-on bonus. Hours are 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, Monday–Friday, with potential overtime and Saturdays.

Prior machining experience is not required. Training lasts ~90 days; after training, responsibilities expand to operating CNC machines and reading blueprints with standard measurement tools.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety policies and operating instructions.
• Basic math and ability to apply measurements and tolerances.
• Ability to communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Learn safe operation of CNC machines during approx. 90-day training period.
• Maintain operation during production runs and read blueprints.
• Perform inspection of machined parts using general measuring instruments.
• Assist with setup and basic tool handling after training.
