Milwaukee Valve Corp. is seeking a 2nd Shift Material Handler Trainee for our Prairie Du Sac, WI team (Dept. 301). Starting wage is $21.16/hour with a 4.5% shift premium and a $2,000 sign-on bonus. Schedule is 3:30PM–12:00AM, Mon–Fri, with possible overtime.

This trainee role emphasizes learning safe material handling, equipment operation, and accurate record keeping while supporting multiple operations and inventory processes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.
• Basic math: addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
• Ability to understand and carry out written or oral instructions.

Responsibilities

• Learn safe operation of material handling equipment.
• Transport materials and containers of varying sizes and weights.
• Operate parts washers, floor scrubber/sweeper and other processing equipment.
• Assist with inventory and housekeeping; follow safety guidelines.
