CNC Machine Operator Position Overview

Operate CNC machine operator and inspect finished parts.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Verify components are produced to specification (dimensional and visual inspection)
• Change tools
• Make offsets
• Load material and remove scrap
• Fill out various paperwork
• Operate multiple machines simultaneously
• Minor troubleshooting
• Part inspection

Education, Skills, and Competencies

• 2 to 4 years experience with lathe/mill turning machines
• Experience using the Fanuc control preferred
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints (GD&T symbols)
• Working knowledge of various materials & tools (inserts, end mills, drills, etc.)
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Good communication skills and positive can-do attitude
• Dependable and willingness to learn new techniques
• Ability to read and write English

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for several hours
• Ability to lift 50 lbs

Compensation and Schedule

• Pay: $19-22 per hour
• Schedule: Wednesday-Sunday
• Hours: 6am-4pm or 4pm-2am
• Night differential: 20% extra
