Job summary

Mural Group is seeking a CNC Machine Operator for our Hamilton, OH shop on the second shift. You will work alongside a senior machinist to run and monitor complex, tight-tolerance aerospace components on Okuma, Makino, Matsuura, and other precision equipment.

Responsibilities include overseeing production runs, performing in-process checks, changing tools, and maintaining records in the ERP system. On-site, direct-hire opportunity with steady hours (1pm–10pm).

Qualifications

• 1 to 4 years of CNC machine operation experience in a production environment.
• Ability to monitor running jobs and detect issues before scrap.
• Reliability is critical: two-person second shift with call-out impact.
• Comfort working a fixed second shift (1pm–10pm) on-site.

Responsibilities

• Monitor CNC machines during production runs and respond to issues.
• Support on-shift machinist with changeovers, tool changes, and in-process checks.
• Perform basic dimensional checks using calipers and micrometers.
• Assist with loading/unloading and part handling without disrupting cycles.
• Support automation cells and lights-out machining as needed.
• Maintain accurate production records in the shop ERP system.
• Keep work area clean, organized, and safe.
