ProCraft Cabinetry in Hillside, IL seeks a skilled CNC Machine Operator experienced with edge banding. You will set up and run CNC routers, beam saws, and edge banding equipment to produce precise parts, while maintaining safety and quality standards.

You will review blueprints, load materials, troubleshoot issues, and keep accurate production records in a fast-paced production environment. This on-site role offers regular hours with potential overtime.

Formación

• 2–3 years of CNC machining/programming experience.
• Basic math and measurement skills.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift and move 35–50 pounds.
• Effective verbal and written English communication skills.
• Experience with CNC routers, beam saws, and edge banding machines preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Review work orders, blueprints, drawings, and production specifications to determine machining requirements and materials needed.
• Set up, program, and operate CNC routers, beam saws, and edge banding machines according to production requirements.
• Load, position, and secure materials properly to ensure accurate and efficient machine operation.
• Monitor machine performance and adjust settings as needed to maintain product quality and production efficiency.
• Operate and troubleshoot edge banding machines, ensuring proper adhesive application, edge alignment, trimming, and finishing.
• Inspect finished products and verify dimensions, accuracy, and quality according to established standards.
• Identify and resolve common machine issues, replace worn tools, and report equipment malfunctions when necessary.
• Perform routine equipment maintenance and follow all safety procedures.
• Maintain accurate production records and communicate equipment issues, material needs, and production updates to supervisors and team members.
• Keep machines, tools, and work areas clean, organized, and safe.
• Follow production schedules and quality standards while maintaining consistent productivity.
• Participate in training and continuously improve machine operation and troubleshooting skills.
