Job summary

You will follow instructions, check dimensions with gauges, assist in tool changes, inspect parts, and maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with TS16949 and ISO14000. The role requires a high school diploma, basic math, manual dexterity, the ability to lift up to 40–50 pounds, and teamwork to meet takt and cycle times.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic math and reading/writing skills to follow work orders.
• Able to operate machinery with safe handling and dexterity.
• Ability to lift and move up to 40–50 pounds as needed.
• Demonstrates teamwork to achieve takt and cycle times.
• Meet pre-employment assessments and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Work per operator instruction sheets or verbal instructions.
• Check dimensions with indicators and gauges; determine good/NG parts.
• Assist in tool changes and simple part/fixture changes.
• Visually and manually inspect products for defects.
• Input data daily to support charts and reports across departments.
• Maintain a clean, organized 5S work area and comply with safety rules.
• Adhere to TS16949 and ISO14000 standards and customer quality policies.
• Suggest and implement continuous improvement ideas.
