Job summary

Aerotek in Antioch, TN is seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our manufacturing team. You will set up, operate, and monitor CNC machinery to produce high-quality parts according to blueprints and specs, with emphasis on safety and efficiency.

Ideal candidates read blueprints, use calipers and micrometers, and can work independently or in a team. This contract-to-hire role offers a competitive hourly rate of $20.00-$25.00 and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Experience preferred in CNC manufacturing.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Proficient with precision measuring instruments.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machines, loading materials and adjusting settings.
• Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to meet specs.
• Perform in-process and final quality inspections with calipers, micrometers, gauges.
• Monitor machine performance, apply offsets, troubleshoot minor issues.
• Maintain production and quality documentation.
• Keep work areas clean and safe; follow procedures.
• Collaborate with production, quality and maintenance to meet goals.
