Job summary

Crystal Group, located in Cedar Rapids, IA, is seeking a CNC Operator to contribute to the CNC department. You will set up and run CNC mills, perform surface finishing, and operate vibratory equipment to produce precision components for rugged servers.

You will read blueprints, use micrometers and calipers, and ensure parts meet exact tolerances while maintaining a safe, organized work area. Join a 100% employee-owned team with strong ESOP participation.

Qualifications

• Must have a GED/HS diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of CNC machine operation experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and setup sheets.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC mills and finishing equipment per specs.
• Load materials, adjust settings, and calibrate tooling for accuracy.
• Perform in-process inspections using micrometers and calipers.
• Monitor operations and take corrective actions to maintain quality.
• Document travelers, inspections, and time logs as required.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and follow safety procedures.
