Crystal Group in Hiawatha, IA is seeking a CNC Operator for 2nd shift to program, operate, and monitor CNC mills and finishing equipment. You will load materials, verify alignment, and ensure quality through in-process inspections while maintaining safety and a clean work area.

The role emphasizes precise measurements with micrometers and calipers, adherence to blueprints and setup sheets, and teamwork to achieve production targets and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• GED/High School Diploma required.
• 1+ year of CNC mill operation experience in manufacturing.
• Ability to read blueprints/setup sheets and GD&T.
• Familiarity with G-code and CNC controls (Fanuc/Haas/Siemens).

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC mills and finishing equipment.
• Load materials, adjust settings, and ensure alignment and calibration.
• Perform in-process inspections with micrometers and calipers.
• Identify deviations and report machine issues.
• Maintain clean and safe work area and document job travelers and logs.
• Collaborate with team to continuous improvement.
