Job summary

Molex is seeking a CNC Machine Operator to produce aerospace-grade components with precision on the 2nd shift, 3:30PM - 2AM, Monday through Thursday. You will read blueprints, set up machines, perform routine maintenance, and inspect parts to ensure specifications are met.

Join a team focused on safety, continuous improvement, and collaboration with quality and engineering to optimize processes in a defense/aerospace manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 1+ year of experience operating CNC machinery in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Familiarity with measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
  • Basic understanding of machine setup and tooling.

Responsibilities

  • Operate CNC machines to produce aerospace-grade components with precision and consistency.
  • Interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure accurate machining.
  • Perform routine machine maintenance and report any mechanical issues.
  • Inspect finished parts using measurement tools to verify conformance to specifications.

Hours: 2nd Shift; 3:30PM - 2AM, Monday - Thursday.

What You Will Do
  • Operate CNC machines to produce aerospace-grade components with precision and consistency.
  • Interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure accurate machining.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 1+ year of experience operating CNC machinery in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Familiarity with measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
  • Basic understanding of machine setup and tooling.
What Will Put You Ahead
  • Experience in aerospace or defense manufacturing.
  • Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
  • Familiarity with ISO or AS9100 quality standards.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and meet tight deadlines.
  • Technical certification in CNC machining or related field.
