Job summary

Molex, a Koch company and a leader in aerospace and defense solutions, is seeking a CNC Machine Operator in Phoenix, AZ. You will operate CNC machines to produce high-tolerance aerospace components and interpret blueprints.

Join a team focused on precision, continous improvement, and safety. Shift is 2nd, 3:30PM–2AM, Monday–Thursday; prior experience and GD&T knowledge preferred; benefits include competitive pay and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 1+ year CNC machining experience in manufacturing.
  • Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Familiar with calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
  • Basic machine setup and tooling understanding.

Responsibilities

  • Operate CNC machines to produce aerospace-grade components with precision and consistency.
  • Interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure accurate machining.
  • Perform routine machine maintenance and report any mechanical issues.
  • Inspect finished parts using measurement tools to verify conformance to specifications.
  • Collaborate with quality and engineering teams to troubleshoot and optimize production processes.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety standards.

Our Team

You’ll be part of a dedicated manufacturing team that specializes in producing high-tolerance aerospace components. Our division thrives on collaboration, continuous improvement, and a commitment to delivering excellence to our defense and aviation partners.

Hours: 2nd Shift; 3:30PM - 2AM, Monday - Thursday.

What You Will Do

  • Operate CNC machines to produce aerospace-grade components with precision and consistency.
  • Interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure accurate machining.
  • Perform routine machine maintenance and report any mechanical issues.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 1+ year of experience operating CNC machinery in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Familiarity with measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
  • Basic understanding of machine setup and tooling.

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Experience in aerospace or defense manufacturing.
  • Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
  • Familiarity with ISO or AS9100 quality standards.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and meet tight deadlines.
  • Technical certification in CNC machining or related field.
