Job summary

Qualifications

• Proven experience as CNC operator
• Ability to program machine tooling and operate precise measuring equipment
• Read and comprehend schematic engineering drawings and blueprints
• Comfortable operating 3D CAD software
• Mechanical aptitude with strong math and problem-solving
• Good communication skills
• Able to visually inspect finished parts
• Familiarity with power tools, forklift and overhead crane
• Able to meet physical demands (lifting up to 50 lbs)
• OSHA safety practices awareness

Responsibilities

• Schedule workflow with Production Manager and Lead Assembly Technician to meet delivery and quality goals
• Read shop drawings, blueprints, and specifications; process CNC files and edit tooling instructions
• Verify CNC machine calibration is within tolerance and monitor operation
• Perform daily CNC maintenance and tooling inventory
• Train new or current employees on CNC operation
• Maintain safe, clean work environment and report unsafe conditions
• Adhere to safety procedures and complete other duties as assigned
