Wagstaff is seeking an experienced machinist to set up and program CNC and manual machines, including lathes and mills, to tight tolerances. You will train less-experienced staff and lead project teams, ensuring parts meet specifications with high quality.
The role requires strong proficiency in Mazatrol, reading blueprints, and optimizing machining processes. You may cross-train on multiple machines and participate in continuous improvement efforts.

Schedule: 10-hour shifts, Monday - Thursday: 3:20 pm - 1:40 am
Pay: $30 - $40 *depending on experience

Follow prints and specifications to set up, edit and program CNC machines and/or manual machines, such as lathes and mills, to very close tolerances and to operate these machines for precision work using best and safe practices. Employee is expected to have achieved a level of technical proficiency equivalent to a subject-matter expert, and is capable of training less senior employees and leading project teams.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be exposed to moving mechanical parts, machinery and equipment, and vibration. The employee may be exposed to fumes or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals. While performing some job duties, there is a risk of electrical shock and other risks associated with a manufacturing environment. Job duties may require work in high, precarious places, work in outside weather conditions, and exposure to extreme temperatures in some cases. The noise level in the working environment is often loud. Because of this environment and associated risks, use of job appropriate personal protective equipment and clothing is required.
