Job summary

One Source Manufacturing is seeking a CNC Operator Level 1 for the Leander, TX facility. The role involves operating CNC machines, loading parts, and cycling tooling to produce parts while maintaining safety and quality standards.

You will work with production teams in a fast-paced shop environment, perform in-process inspections, document results, and follow ERP work orders. A high school diploma or GED is required, and manufacturing experience is preferred.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machines to fabricate parts.
• Load parts, cycle machines, and monitor tooling for wear or malfunctions.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow 5S practices.
• Perform milling, turning, drilling, tapping, deburring, sawing and sanding as required.
• Inspect machined products and document results per in-process inspection methods.
• Process work orders through ERP system and complete NCMRs for non-conforming material.

Job Location: One Source Manufacturing Headquarters - Leander, TX 78641

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

The CNC Operator Level 1 operates computer numerical control machines to fabricate parts. He/She will load parts in the machine, cycle machine and detect malfunctions in machine operations, such as worn or damaged cutting tools. The position runs production lots, communicates with co-workers regarding production runs, and maintains a safe, organized and clean work environment. • Performs all assigned machine shop operations.
• Detects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions to management or designee.
• Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition and follows prescribed safety procedures, 5S practices and daily maintenance logs.
• Regularly performs milling, turning, drilling, tapping, de-burring, sawing and sanding tasks.
• Performs inspection of machined products, and documents results in accordance with prescribed inspection methods listed on I.P.I (In Process Inspection).
• Processes work orders through ERP system.
• Completes NCMRs to identify non-conforming product or material.
• Monitors required training on a weekly basis.

Work Environment

This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities. The position requires frequent lifting, pushing and pulling objects that are up to 50 pounds.
