Collins Aerospace in Jacksonville, FL is seeking an on-site CNC Machinist to set up and operate multiple CNC centers for complex fiberglass parts. You will maintain instrument calibration, document operations, and ensure quality while meeting output and FPY targets.
Responsibilities include tool wear identification, process improvements, and cross-training across centers. Candidates must have a HS diploma/GED with 2 years’ experience and be eligible for a powered-vehicle certification.

This individual will be responsible for tooling setup and machining new parts by executing programs and operating a variety of computer numerical control (CNC) or manual machines (3 axis and 5 axis CNC).
This person will liaise with other operators and departments where appropriate to ensure the Machining section meets the required demands and reports directly to the Machining Supervisor.
This position is located on Blount Island and will possibly require some travel between our 2 Jacksonville locations, Busch Drive location and Blount Island on an as needed basis.
Work Shift: 2nd Shift, Monday – Fridays 3:00 pm – 12:00am Fridays 6:00 am – 2:30 pm
Training will be conducted on 1st Shift for approximately 4-8 weeks Monday – Thursday 7:00 am – 3:30 pm, and Pay day Fridays 6:00 am – 2:30 pm
