Job summary

Express Employment Professionals is assisting a client in Rutherford, NJ to hire a CNC Operator. The role requires operating Lathes and Milling Machines, loading materials, reading blueprints, and performing in-process inspections to meet quality standards.

Day shift with contract/evaluation-hire terms. Benefits are available during the evaluation period. Candidates should be able to perform routine maintenance and tool changes on CNC equipment.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret basic blueprints and drawings (calibrations where needed).
• Ability to measure parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges.

Responsibilities

• Operate Lathes & Milling Machines to manufacture parts.
• Prepare and load raw materials and parts onto CNC machines.
• Ensure parts meet production goals for cycle time, quantity and quality.
• Perform in-process inspection and verify tolerances.
• Conduct routine maintenance and replace worn tooling as needed.

Job description

Our client is looking for a CNC Operator who can operate Lathes & Milling Machines.

Job Duties:

• Ensure parts are machined to meet production goals, including cycle time, quantity and quality.
• Prepare and loads raw materials and parts onto CNC machines. Handle materials appropriately and safely.
• Read and interpret basic blueprints and drawings.
• Perform in-process inspection of machine parts to ensure manufacturing adherence to all quality regulations. Measure and check dimensions and tolerances using measuring devices, including calipers, micrometers and gauges.
• Perform daily maintenance on CNC machinery. Conduct routine inspection and replace worn-out tooling as needed.
